STOW door system explained

STOW fold-away door system for en-suites and other patient accessible areas

The STOW doorset is used where clinical staff want the control of providing the patient use of the door in the normal way or as part of a risk manegement plan to 'stow' the door leaf safely away into the secondary frame - this then allows increased observation into the en-suite area and reduces the risk of the door being mis-used.

The STOW door system is a single action outward opening configuration and the hardwood secondary framing profiles are supplied for on-site fixing, these can be supplied in a matching material or pre-primed for a painted finish.

The locking arrangement on the STOW door is a euro profile cylinder to both side of the door - this allows the door to be deadlocked in either the closed or locked-back position.

The STOW door system has a full length continuous hinge with a special cover cap to ensure the top of the hinge is protected against possible ligature attachment, a brush seal holder is installed into the secondary frame profiles to minimize any gaps around the door when it is stowed away.
